A part of the scope of the renovation of the master bedroom ensuite in this residence, was to convert the master bedroom into a dressing room. The small rectangle window on the back wall of the bedroom was bricked in, to enable the whole wall to built in with cabinetry. The existing window and sliding door were left in place to maximise on the natural light. A dressing room bench seat was built in underneath the window and built in long hanging space was integrated at the end of the bench seat. A long bank of draws was also added in the centre of the room to maximise storage space. The built in cabinetry was taken to the ceiling for extra storage and Hafele wardrobe lift systems were used in the higher hanging spaces for ease of access.

In 2014, the owners of this residence requested MD Interiors assist with the complete renovation of their home built in 2003. To increase hanging and storage capacity the new wardrobe design installed included short and long hanging, open shelving for shoes and draws. The wardrobe was installed to ceiling height for double short hanging which incorporated Haefele wardrobe hanging lifts and Haefele pull out trouser rails. The walk in robe was quite a dark space, so LED strip lighting was used to light the kick board area and downlights installed in the top hanging sections to brighten the area.
